Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinic Oncology/Hematology

End Date: November 16, 2025

Shift: 4x10 Days (10-hour shifts)

Location: Des Moines, Iowa

Pay: $2,550/week (all-inclusive)

Job Description:

We are hiring a compassionate and experienced Oncology/Hematology Clinic RN for a 13-week contract in Des Moines, IA. This outpatient role focuses on supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment, managing infusions, and providing education and emotional support throughout the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive care medications
• Monitor patients during and after infusion therapy, addressing adverse reactions promptly
• Perform assessments, manage symptoms, and provide patient education on treatment plans
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other care team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document interventions and outcomes accurately in the EMR system
• Maintain a safe and supportive outpatient clinical environment

Requirements:

• Active Iowa RN license (or compact license)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Oncology/Hematology nursing experience
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
• Proficient in EMR systems and outpatient clinical workflows
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Contract Details:

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Schedule: 4x10 Days (Mon–Fri, no weekends or holidays expected)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Weekly Pay: $2,550 (blended rate, includes taxable wages and stipends)
• Setting: Outpatient Oncology/Hematology Clinic
